German American Club of Santa Cruz
German Children’s Books and Weckmänner!
Saturday, November 21th 10-12
At the parking lot of the
German American Hall
We are pleased to report that the premiere of die Kleine Kinderbücherei last month was a total success. This Small German Children’s Library Event WILL BE HELD AGAIN at the Hall parking lot ON NOV. 21, 10:00-12:00, which is its usual 3rd Saturday of the month. Please SPREAD THE WORD. In case of rain, the entire library arrangement, including books for adult readers, will be moved inside the club hall, with Covid-19 safety rules in place. Yes, there are plenty of German books and magazines for adults as well. This month one of the new library patrons, Lisa Sudek, will be baking Weckmänner - a traditional baked good for November's St, Martin's Day.
Please share this news with German speaking families.
The German American Club of Santa Cruz is a non-profit organization whose main goal it is to preserve German and European traditions.
Founded in 1888, the Club is part of Santa Cruz history. We are happy to welcome everybody who is interested in German culture or even has German heritage. Once a month we gather for a dinner with mostly traditional German food. Besides that we offer German language classes, a Christmas market and many more things.
